About DJ Maestro B
Maestro B (aka Brent Silby) is a DJ based in Christchurch. Currently he is one of 3 resident DJs at Casa Publica and plays regularly at other local hotspots on The Terrace. Brent also produces a live weekly mixshow, “The Style Suite Disco”, for dance music station 93.3 PulzarFM. With a DJ history that spans almost three decades, Brent has performed in many of the leading bars and clubs in Christchurch, including a residency at the legendary Palladium niteclub.
When playing restaurants, bars, and clubs, Maestro B adapts his style to suit the venue and crowd. At his Casa Publica residency, he plays vinyl sets of funk, disco, and house. Club nights usually tend towards top 40 remix style music.
