About Intercity Strings

Founded in 1988, Intercity Strings’ international players are all members of the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra

The quartet has a busy schedule of serious concerts as well as performances of lighter music at social engagements.

The quartet covers a wide repertoire from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, through the famous popular quartets of the Classic and Romantic periods to Viennese Waltzes, Gershwin and Cole Porter.

Ideal For: background music for wedding service and reception, house party, garden party, product release, background situations
